These terms apply to your use of mcdadeprojects.com (the “Website”), operated by Finn McDade, a sole trader trading as McDade Construction Intelligence (ABN 98 848 948 499) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these terms.
01About our services
We provide commercial construction research and business intelligence. Our services are research and information services only. We do not:
- carry out, manage or supervise residential or commercial building work;
- act as a real estate agent, buyer’s agent or property broker, or sell, lease or manage property;
- provide legal, financial, planning, engineering or other professional advice.
Specific engagements are governed by the written quote or agreement for that engagement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement prevails.
02Website information
Information on the Website is general in nature. We take care to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or suitable for your purposes.
03Research findings
Research we deliver is based on information available at the time from public, licensed and direct sources. Project details such as stage, value and timing can change, and third-party sources may contain errors. Findings should be checked before you rely on them for significant commercial decisions.
Clients must use research findings, including any business contact details, only for their own legitimate business purposes and in line with applicable law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth). Findings must not be resold or published without our written consent.
04Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, we own or license the content on the Website, including its text and design. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you may not copy, reproduce or republish Website content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Photographs are used under licence.
05Acceptable use
You must not use the Website in a way that is unlawful, interferes with its operation, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any system or data.
06Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
07Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Website. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the relevant services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.

We are not currently registered for GST. Quotes and invoices will state whether GST applies.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
